Some writers struggle with grammar, others to keep their style consistent. Some writers find it difficult to control being "too wordy", others just can't get the wording right!
In order to succeed, every writer needs an uninvolved and objective party - a professional editor - to review their manuscript from the reader's point of view and help get the message across better.
Whether you are new or already accomplished author, Briz Editing will increase the effectiveness of your writing by focussing on content, structure, clarity and style. We'll preserve your voice and deliver an error-free, high-quality finished product ready for publishing.
We provide a comprehensive editing service and depending on your requirements, we will apply one or all of the following three levels of input:
Structural Editing
We review your document as a whole to see whether the content, language, style and structure are appropriate for the document's purpose and the readers' expectation; we perform necessary restructuring and language and style editing in the interest of clarity and effectiveness of your writing.
Copy Editing
We close check your document at sentence/paragraph level ensuring language and visual consistency and clarity of expression; we correct errors of grammar, spelling and punctuation and spot check the accuracy of cross-references and links.
Proofreading
We perform a final check of your document for typographical errors and correct formatting and layout to ensure it is ready to print.
Service Overview
For the fastest service, we prefer all documents to be submitted electronically in MS Word format. Alternatively, you can request editing on hard copy instead, or for additional 30% surcharge, you can have your documents edited both ways.
